Listen (about an hour)

This program was recorded in August, 2004, when the summer Nutrition Think Tank participants have been eating a low-carb, adequate protein, high-quality fat diet now for roughly 8 weeks, and many people are finally adapting to be “fat-burners,” rather than needing to rely mainly on carbohydrate fuels for energy.  Spirits are high when Dr. Ron Rosedale comes to talk with the group and answer questions about the dietary program.  This discussion includes many observations from people who are losing weight, seeing their blood pressure drop, and experiencing other benefits.  It also includes Dr. Rosedale’s Reasons for why he believes calcium supplementation is missing the boat when it comes to osteoporosis, and why the supplement Co-Q10 is beneficial for so many people–especially those taking cholesterol lowering drugs, which deplete Co-Q10 from the body.
